Product Overview

The Potter OSYSU Series Outside Screw & Yoke (OS&Y) Valve Supervisory Switch is designed to monitor the open position of OS&Y gate valves. Available in two models the OSYSU-1 with a single SPDT (Form C) contact and the OSYSU-2 with two SPDT (Form C) contacts, these switches provide reliable valve status monitoring for fire protection systems.

The OSYSU mounts to most 2” to 12” (50–300 mm) valves, with select models fitting valves as small as ½” (12.5 mm). A tamper-resistant cover secured by two screws, removable with the provided special tool, protects the internal components, ensuring secure and durable operation.
