Product OverviewThe VSR-2 is a vane-type waterflow switch engineered for wet sprinkler systems, offering reliable flow detection across a wide range of steel pipe installations. UL Listed, FM Approved, and compliant with multiple international certifications, it supports pipe schedules 10 through 40 in 2" to 8" diameters, with LPC approval for the same range. This model can also function as a sectional flow detector in larger system layouts.

Designed for accuracy, the switch activates when downstream flow reaches 10 GPM (38 LPM) and includes an instantly recycling pneumatic retard to prevent false alarms. The unit incorporates two SPDT snap-action switches, a corrosion-resistant sleeve, and a rugged NEMA 4/IP54 enclosure suitable for indoor or outdoor use. Its construction and performance meet the requirements of key NFPA standards.
