The Silent Knight SK-FIRE-CO-W is an addressable, plug-in multi-criteria detector that provides both fire and carbon monoxide (CO) detection in a single device. It combines four independent sensing elements—photoelectric smoke, thermal (fixed temperature and rate-of-rise), infrared (IR), and electrochemical CO—to improve real-fire detection while reducing nuisance alarms.
Advanced onboard algorithms analyze inputs from all four sensors to enhance sensitivity to genuine fire conditions and increase immunity to common nuisance sources such as cooking or theatrical smoke. The electrochemical CO cell generates a separate signal for life safety carbon monoxide detection and provides a 10-year CO cell with end-of-life warning.
The SK-FIRE-CO-W occupies a single address on the SLC loop and supports separate audible patterns for fire (Temporal 3) and CO (Temporal 4) when used with compatible B200S Series intelligent sounder bases. It is listed to UL 268 7th Edition, UL 521, and UL 2075 standards.
