The Simplex 4098-9404 is an Electronic Heat Detector for Two-Wire Direct Connection.
Direct connecting design: Wiring attaches directly to detector terminals; Detector mounts onto mechanical adapter plate (included) . For ceiling or wall mounting.
Provides Fixed Temp (200F) and Rate-of-rise heat detection. Rate of Rise rate meets FM requirements for operation between 15° and 25° F/min (8.33° and 13.88° C/min) .
Voltage: 15 to 32 VDC, filtered DC with 30% maximum ripple
