Siemens' HLIM Line Isolator Module provides short-circuits protection on FireFinder XLS intelligent-device circuits (Model DLC). When a short circuit is detected, Model HLIM isolates the affected segment on the circuit, allowing the remaining devices to continue operation.
Can be wired in either a Style 4 or Style 6 configuration. Model HLIM does not occupy a device address on Model DLC, and does not require any programming. Up to 15 Model HLIM modules may be installed on each Model DLC loop.
Mounts in a 4"-square, 2-1/8"-deep or 3-1/2"-deep, double-gang electrical box, and is supplied with a cover plate with a circular opening for the LED.
