The EVS-100W is an intelligent distributed audio amplifier for Silent Knight EVS systems. It delivers up to 100 watts of audio power at 25 Vrms or 70.7 Vrms, provides eight supervised speaker circuits, and includes its own power supply with battery backup. The unit supports three operating modes: 50 watts with 50 watts as backup, 100-watt single channel, or 100-watt single channel with 50-watt backup when paired with the EVS-100WBU. Up to four EVS-100W amplifiers can be used per system, and they may be distributed across as many as 32 audio circuits. A built-in backup-amplifier test function, 400 Hz to 4 kHz bandwidth, and 520 Hz low-frequency tone support help meet NFPA 72 emergency communication needs. The EVS-100W connects to the EVS control panel with a six-wire run and can be mounted up to 6,000 feet from the panel.
