The Simplex 4098-9770 is a CO Base for TrueAlarm Sensors. TrueAlarm addressable CO sensor bases contain a carbon monoxide (CO) sensing module providing both CO toxic gas monitoring and enhanced fire detection.
CO sensor bases support (and require) a TrueAlarm photoelectric, photo/heat or heat sensor (sold separately):

Compatible for use with 4007ES; and 4010ES or 4100ES fire alarm control panels with software revision 2.01.02 or higher, and 4100U fire alarm control panels with software revision 12.05 or higher
